We’re excited to share this special guest blog, written by our wonderful partners, Sisley’s & Crellow!
With a commitment to quality, local ingredients, and traditional methods, they’ve won the hearts of many—and quite a few awards along the way!
Read on to discover more about their journey, their dedication to sustainable practices, and the passion that goes into every jar they create.
Founded in Penzance in 2003, ‘Sisley’s Cornish Preserves’ gained popularity due to our range of homely, wholesome products.
20 years later, now based in Portreath, we remain a family run business, and have diversified the range further, by adding established company ‘Crellow’ to our family, thus becoming ‘Sisley’s & Crellow’.
Supporting local producers and suppliers whenever possible, using traditional recipes and methods, often with a modern twist.
Many products have gained gold taste of the west, and gold great taste awards, the most recent winners being our ‘Mild’ & ‘Smokey’ salsas-both gold 2023, and ‘Hot’-gold 2024.
We’re delighted to have the recent installation of solar panels on our little Cornish kitchen (well done Jonny!), which will help future proof against any rising electricity costs.
Jonny, and sisters Jess and Laura will continue to put blood, sweat and tears into our booming business (not literally, don’t worry), and hope that everyone continues to enjoy the range of 60+ products for many more years to come!
(Thanks for your support! J, J, L)
