🚚 Delivery

How much is delivery?
We offer free next-day delivery on all Hampers and Pasties by Post. Orders from The Cornish Pantry will have a £2.95 delivery fee if the basket total is under £20.

Can I choose my delivery date?
Yes, you can select a delivery date at checkout. However, please note that we cannot deliver on Mondays or Tuesdays following a bank holiday. 

What happens if no one’s home for delivery? 
We ask couriers to leave your order in a safe place where possible. If you prefer to give specific delivery instructions, you can do so at checkout. Please note that if the courier follows your instructions and marks the parcel as delivered, any loss or damage will be the buyer’s responsibility. 

When will my hamper be delivered? 
We dispatch hampers the day before your preferred date. While we aim for your selected date, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. During peak periods, we may dispatch orders earlier to avoid courier delays. 

Which courier do you use for deliveries? 
We ship orders using APC or Royal Mail, depending on your delivery location and chosen delivery date. APC is the UK’s largest independent delivery network, rated excellent on Trustpilot.  

Can I send a hamper internationally? 
Unfortunately, we only deliver to mainland UK addresses. Off-shore or international delivery is not available due to the perishable nature of the products. 

How can I track my order? 
You can track your order via the APC tracking site. Tracking details are sent by email the day before your delivery date. 

What should I do if I need help with my delivery? 
Please check your order status on the APC tracking site. If you still need assistance, please contact our customer care team for support. 

Can I send hampers to multiple addresses? 
Yes, you can send hampers to multiple addresses. Simply add hampers to your basket and, at checkout, choose the ‘multiple delivery addresses’ option. You can then assign one address per hamper. 

Will my order still be fresh if it arrives late? 
Yes, we use temperature-controlled packaging to keep items cool for up to 2 days in transit. If your order’s delayed by 1 day, it should still be fresh and suitable for consumption. If you have any concerns, please contact our customer care team for assistance. 

What’s the shelf life on hampers? 
Most hampers have a 7-10 day shelf life. Please keep fresh items like cream in the fridge. 

🎁 Ordering Hampers

Can I add a gift message to my order? 
Yes, you can add a personalised gift message at checkout. Your message will be printed onto a decorative gift card and included in the hamper.  

Can I add or change items in my hamper after ordering?  
If you need to add or change an item, please reply to your order confirmation email straight away, stating the change you wish to make. If your hamper’s not been packed, we’ll do our best to accommodate the change and will confirm by email. 

Can I cancel my order?  
Yes, but cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before dispatch. If cancelled in time, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method, with no administration fees. 

Can I return my hamper? 
Due to the perishable nature of our hampers, returns are not accepted. However, if your order’s delayed or if you have any issues, please contact our customer care team, and we’ll work towards a resolution. 

Why haven’t I received an order confirmation email? 
Your order confirmation email should arrive within 5-15 minutes of placing your order. If you don’t see it, please check your junk or spam folder. If it’s still missing, contact our customer care team for assistance. 

Do you offer discounts?  
Yes. To access our exclusive discounts and offers, please sign up to our mailing list.  

How do I use a discount code? 
To apply a discount code, enter it in the discount box at checkout.   

How can I place a corporate or bulk order?  
To place a corporate or bulk order, click here to connect with our corporate gifting team. We offer customised hampers and bulk discounts for corporate clients. 

Can I buy alcohol online?  
Yes, but you must be 18 or over to purchase alcohol online. We comply with UK alcohol laws, including: 
– Challenge 25 Policy – Couriers may request ID upon delivery if the recipient appears under 25. 
– Age Verification at Checkout – You must tick a box confirming you’re 18 or over before completing your purchase. 
– Legal Restrictions – It’s illegal to buy alcohol for anyone under 18 unless it is wine, beer, or cider consumed with a meal. 

We reserve the right to request nationally accepted ID for any alcohol purchase. If you don’t meet these requirements, you cannot proceed with your order. 

Do product images accurately represent what’s included in the hamper? 
Our product images are for illustration purposes only. While we aim to make them as accurate as possible, hampers do not include cutlery, crockery, or kitchen utensils shown in lifestyle images. For the exact contents, please refer to the hamper contents list provided. 

Why did I receive different items in my hamper? 
We strive to include the best, high-quality products in every hamper. Occasionally, due to stock availability, we may need to substitute items. Any substitutions will be of equal or greater value.

Can I recycle the packaging? 
Yes, you can. Our polystyrene boxes are 100% recyclable where facilities exist. We use Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) because it: 
– Extends shelf life of perishable items, reducing food waste 
– Provides superior insulation for temperature-controlled goods 
– Has a low carbon footprint – it’s 98% air & generates no manufacturing waste 

How can I repurpose polystyrene packaging? 
Polystyrene can be reused in many ways, including: 
– Plant pots – Grow tomato plants in the larger boxes 
– Cool box – Keep frozen or chilled products cold for picnics 
– Drinks ice bucket – Perfect for BBQs and garden gatherings 
– Stuffing material – Use packing beads to fill toys, cushions, or bean bags
