Please be aware that although we make every effort to get your order delivered on the selected preferred date, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. we would suggest setting your delivery date as early as possible to avoid any orders arriving late.
Non Mainland Deliveries
Non mainland postcodes listed below will attract the applicable increased delivery charge as listed above and dependent on location may only be available on a 2 day service:
AB37, AB38, AB41-56, FK19-FK21, HS1-HS9, IV1-IV63, KA27-KA28, KW1-KW17, KY15-17, PA20-PA78, PH1-PH50 and ZE1-ZE3.
All BT postcodes will be charged at the Northern Ireland shipping rate.
We regret that we cannot send orders to the Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight or Isle of Man.
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
All orders received before 2pm Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holidays) will be dispatched the same day unless a nominated delivery date has been chosen. Any orders placed after 2pm Thursday or Friday will be set for the next Applicable delivery date of Tuesday unless upgraded to Saturday delivery. This is to ensure that orders are not held in transit for longer than necessary to ensure freshness. Orders placed over the weekend or on a bank holiday will be dispatched on the next available working day. Please note that all orders are packed and dispatched the day prior to the delivery date on the expectation of next day delivery however, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. If you are ordering this as a gift for a special occasion we would strongly advise that you set your delivery date a day ahead of the required date to ensure delivery on time.
It's a gift, can I nominate a future delivery date?
Yes, at checkout we have the facility for you to select a preferred delivery date from a calendar. If a nominated delivery date is chosen we will not pick and pack your order until the day prior to your delivery date to guarantee your order arrives fresh.
How will my order be sent?
All our orders are dispatched using a 24hr or 48hr service (highlands & islands). Not only does our courier provide a reliable, high quality service but also offers a host of benefits to make receiving deliveries easier for our customers.A 1 hour delivery window will be provided by the courier to give you an expected ETA.
Although we cannot specify a time window (unless an upgraded service has been paid for) the courier will send a 1 hour estimated window for your delivery once they are en route.
If you are unable for any reason to make your delivery time, you can arrange with the to change delivery dates, deliver to a trusted neighbour, leave the parcel in a specified safe place (at your risk), change the delivery destination, or upgrade your delivery to a times or weekend service.
Does someone need to be present to accept delivery?
Unless you have made alternative arrangements or given other instructions to the courier, on delivery a signature will be required. If no one is available at the address to provide a signature the courier will hold the parcel and attempt delivery at a later date. If you have made arrangements to leave the delivery in a safe place, please be mindful of the impact this will have on any chilled goods included in the hamper.
Packing & packaging
Our standard carton packaging is a fully branded double walled box, printed on all sides with our logo presented on a full Cornish scenic background.
Our gift boxes are beautifully presented, premium quality rigid card boxes with a magnetic closure and our logo emblazoned on the lid.
Our wicker hampers add a real touch of class and are of the finest quality with leather closure straps.
The contents of our hampers are carefully packed and where necessary, protectively wrapped to minimise the possibility of breakages during transit. These are placed on a cushion of attractive coloured straw for presentation. All wicker hampers and gift boxes are sent inside a thick protective double walled outer to ensure it arrives in pristine condition.
Unlike other suppliers, we do not freeze any of our dairy products. Our clotted cream is sent out chilled and thermally wrapped to keep it temperature controlled and fresh. We avoid sending dairy products frozen as the defrosting process and speed cannot be controlled prior to arrival.
What is the shelf life on hampers?
That depends on the hamper you are buying and the nature of the products inside. Many of our hampers have a long shelf life of 6 months+ however, hampers containing bakery and dairy products are highly perishable and need to be refrigerated as soon as received.
Typically all highly perishable products will have 1-2 weeks shelf life and as a minimum indicator these products should be delivered with a minimum of 7 days left on any use by date.
Please consider these shelf life times when choosing your delivery date. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds on any perishable products which were delivered but for use some time later.
